Concentus – Essersizii Musici

The Essercizii Musici by Telemann is one of the most accomplished collections of chamber music written in the late Baroque. It consists of 24 works composed for various combinations of instruments. They are all very well-crafted pieces even though Telemann wrote this collection for amateur musicians at the time. Concentus will perform four of these sonatas for recorder, viola da gamba, and harpsichord.
