Hey guys, what’s happening? Niyat here with film comics explained. As voted for by everyone in the latest poll, over the next few weeks we’re going to be diving into the expansive Warhammer 40K universe.

In this massive video, I’m going to do my best to provide an introductory overview of the Tyranids, an extragalactic zoo of hideous, insect-like aliens that redefine the term "bio-diversity" with their countless variants in the Warhammer 40K universe.

I’m planning on covering many more topics in the 40K universe over the next few months in more detail, but the purpose of this video is to provide insight and a brief overview of the Tyranid species.

As much as I love my beautiful bugs...GW seriously wrote themselves into a corner with them. If we go strictly by lore and capabilities of Tyranids...they win. At the end of the day the nids will win no matter what any faction does. It would take the complete cooperation of every other race to stop the entire swarm.

I love how you mention we may have encountered the tyranids much earlier on. I remember one of the stories about the inquisitors and a small group that encounters one of the space craft during the great expansion or whatever they call it. They turn on the space ship that is one of Humanities creations and the Artificial intelligence is soo disgusted by how much humanity has devolved. It's like we are a shell of our former selves in the future compared to what humanity once was.

Im so happy. I've been waiting for this since Niat dropped that video on the emperor. I think the tyranids are probably the most interesting faction in 40k. The true darkness of this Cthuluesque entity scaled down to human size so thag man can fight and die at its hands. Or mouth(s) technically.
