I still don’t understand how random little town and county Police Departments can get shoulder mics for their radios but the freaking LAPD can’t. The fact that one of the biggest PD’s in the country still requires their officers to pull their radio off their belt and bring it up to their mouth during a shootout is mind blowing.

Props to that female officer. Stayed calm, recommended that they pull back and take cover behind a wall to her partner, clearly communicated to the rest of the officers on the suspects location. We need more well trained officers like her.

Donut I’ve never have had an interaction with cops where I’m not in the wrong thought they were all bad for the most part you’ve got me to watch 1000s of hours of body cam footage and I have a new found respect for them I know every group has people that should be there now thank you

It's situations like this where I'm glad I live in rural Arkansas. No matter how "urbanized" I am (reliance on internet, electronics, etc), I will *never* move to a city. We get drunk drivers driving into ditches, not shootouts.
