Nobody pulls this sort of thing (interacting with fans/other performers not in the band) off better than U2. And they’ve done it basically from day one. Live Aid is an example of it.

I love the look on Edge’s face at 3:42. You could tell he’s actually enjoying the show. It must be uniquely satisfying to see someone else performing something you wrote. Especially other highly skilled performers. As this choir clearly is.
