"I'm not a Christian and this book makes me want to believe" I felt that soooo deeply... I grew up in an abusive household where my step dad raped me and allowed others to also sexually abuse me. I escaped only to find myself in foster care and in the same situation just different monsters. My foster dad who was a preacher raped me in his church I haven't been able to have faith in "god" sense and anytime I walk into a church fear and terror take me over. I finally gave up hope at 16 when a staff member 29 years older then me from a group home made moves on me I went on to accept that this was my reality I didn't even bother to try and fight his advances instead I played the part this life had taught me I rolled over and gave up ... I went on to age out at 18 and move in with him he started making me pose for pornography and shortly after that I started stripping and going on dates with tricks for him so I could "pay my stay" it wasn't my first time with using my body for a place to stay and for survival I'd done it as a kid and teenager many times but it wasn't until I got pregnant by him that I even began to think of leaving it all when my son was a year old I managed to escape not for myself but for my son I made a promise I'd never let any monsters hurt him the way I'd been hurt. I met a man in the strip club who took me out and married me but their was and still is too this day so many demons from my past that continue to hunt me this book made me want to believe in something is all I can really say. It's crazy the movie is set in the 1800s but it was relatable and made me feel something I really can't explain or even put in words... Any ways rant over I will deff be watching the movie if its anything like the book I'm afraid of what it will make me feel....

I have owned this book for going on 16 years. It is one of my favorite books and Im about to finish reading it again for the 6th time. You cry with them, your heart beats faster with them. You feel the passion, love, humbleness and God's love through it all. I ask any one who doesn't believe to just read this book and I just found out today that there is a movie coming out??? WHAT?? So excited, I CANNOT WAIT!

I wouldn't mind if somebody filmed The Mark of the Lion trilogy that she wrote. It's good too. Looking forward to this film!

I wanted to let everyone know that Francine Rivers is my aunt and God did give her a great gift. I am very proud of her and the it is great to see how she has touched so many lives.

It’s gonna take majorly talented actors to pull off the depth of emotional acting that is portrayed in the book.. I don’t have high expectations for this movie to be honest. BUT I hope they can pull it off :)

This was the first Francine Rivers book that I read, and I have subsequently read all her books! Each one magnificent, but Redeeming Love had a larger impact on my life!❤️

I just finished reading the book, which I found after seeing an ad for the movie on YouTube. I heard Lauren Daigle’s song in the ad and knew I should check it out. It did not disappoint and had me crying and smiling and physically hurting with all the characters. I love this book so much and can’t wait to see the movie!!!

Oh my goodness - WHATTT??? I read this book 2 years ago and re-read it this year and the first time I read it I started searching to see if there were any movie deals because it is such an incredible story and I really wanted a movie to be made from it. I stumbled here by mistake tonight after watching “Mia and The White Lion” and saw that the actress also acted in Redeeming Love and almost FELL OFF THE COUCH. I can’t believe this is finally I ADORE THIS STORY SO MUCH! I’m so happy about this. Praise Jesus!! HalleluYah!!!
