I’m so surprised you are redoing the kitchen. I thought that was one room you wouldn’t have to do, unless you painted it bright colours or something :) . It was lovely, and from what we see on camera, didn’t look worn or in need of updating. Kitchens are so crazy expensive to redo as well!

Nothing wrong with deciding on a whim for a lotta things, but countertops are one of the things where decisions kinda really matter. Cleaning and maintenance needs vary a lot, glad you ended up with something that's gonna work for you and look stunning (fingers crossed for the final look!)

Hey this is some unsolicited advice but I used to work for a countertop installer and just wanted to give you girls a heads up that if you can to go with a 3cm solid quartz slab for the counters or a 2cm mitered if you wanted a thicker look because it’s going to be so much more durable than if you pick porcelain/sintered stuff. If you go with the thinner stuff for a backsplash that’s totally fine but when it’s used for counters it has a tendency to chip
