This information should be published in the official manual's troubleshooting guide. I thought I was going to be stuck having to buy a new blender, spent time googling around for my model #, couldn't find any relevant information, and finally stumbled upon this video - it was exactly the problem that we were having. A little bit of rubbing alcohol and some gentle pushing on it until the alcohol freed up the sticky gunk, and it's working just as it was before. Thank you for sharing this! My stuck switch was one of the outer ones.

Omg. That was my problem. After I watched your video, I saw the same issue. Hit it with some 91% Iso Alcohol and worked it up and down. Now no problems and works like a charm. THANK YOU!!!

The reverse of your video was my problem. So, I solved this problem by pushing up and down on the inside switch. I was very careful cleaning with a straw and very damp sponge cleaning allowing a very, very small amount of water to loosen sticky debris.

I don't have one of these, but without a moment hesitation the first thing I would grab is the isopropyl alcohol I keep in a spray bottle and an old toothbrush. I love this kind of stuff. Thanks for posting!

Use WD-40, just a couple of sprays, wait a few seconds and push it up and down with a flat head screwdriver. I opened mine up and all the wiring seems well protected by design so just a few sprays should free up. We had so much gunk in these tabs that push the micro switch inside. Rubbing alcohol should also work.

I landed here because our blender has a different problem, the outer ring of the blender used for food processing is jammed and only the bullet spindle (inner) is rotating. The motor rotates the inner spindle even after disassembling the whole thing and I'm trumped how the outer spindle is connected to the motor. I did see some disconnected wires below where the blender pushes down the black tabs shown in the video but all of these tabs are connected in series so even if one tab is connected then the spindle should work.

I'll continue my research, our blender is a slightly different model, professional bl682 is slightly different in features but most tabs are similar to the model in this video.

😭 idk why it never occurred to me to clean this.. I was having the opposite issue where my cup wasn’t clicking into place. Cleaned it with a dryish brush and some q tips with rubbing alcohol. It’s working again 🎊

Have same issue the big jug works personal size doesnt the little button is stuck only used it about 4 times . Shouldve bought the cheaper one lasts way longer.

MY issue is that that little spinny thing, sticks at times and won't mix. It takes me a few times for it to "grab". How can I replace this part without having to buy a whole new Ninja?

My cup is just stuck on the base. Can someone help me? I called Ninja customer service but he said me to buy a new one because the warranty time is expired.
