My rewind knob doesn't move and I did everything correct. The weird thing is that I have a Minolta X300 with the same problem and both happened same day. Am I loading the film wrong or some shit?

I have an OM10, that always worked, but remained off and not used for many years .. I changed the batteries after many years, but when I switch on, nothings happens. Battery not detected .. no oxidation and batteries are new.
Mechanical parts are ok.
Any idea or suggestions?

Hello everyone, I wanted to buy this camera as my 1st slr (im new to photography and wanted to learn) i totally understand how to load and unload the film. But one thing that bothers me is how many times do you have to press the shutter and feel confident that the next press is when the counter starts? Please help me! I dont wanna waste my film while doing the test! This may be a silly question but I really wanna know! Thank you in advance!!
