Great video !!! ... Nanodots' are brilliant !!! ... super job on showing the new innovative safety measures they have come up with ... the foul tasting aspect would be the only way to prevent wayward loose and lost magnets from being ingested by floor hugging little kids ... that is one of the major cases that the CPSC is concerned about. The packaging looks good too ... but ... why not just change all the packaging to dressed up child-protect medicine containers with push-twist lids?.

But one thing I forgot: Couldn't it be even an additional danger to offer "flavored magnetic spheres" now? I know it's made to taste disgusting, but I could imagine that now there are thousands of people who put them in their mouth in order to try how they taste!? People who would never think about putting magnets in their mouth before. Maybe they just do once, but still it's an additional risk of swallowing...

Probably the new packaging won't make a difference. CPSC administrative complaint, point 48:

"The hazard posed by the Subject Products can not be remedied by different packaging because users are unlikely to return the magnets to any container or case to store them, regardless of the packaging design. Users of the Subject Products are unlikely to disassemble magnet configurations, many of which are elaborate and time-consuming to create, and replace them in a case or container after each use."

Based on his face, I don't think so haha. Seems a lot like that nail polish stuff girls use. My mom and sister stopped biting their nails (which is highly gross btw) and I haven't seen either one trying bite off their own fingers. If anything they're repulsed by the thought.

I think that should be enough to satisfy any reasonable person. however that being said my/our goverment is not very reasonable. :(

Think of stupid teens who might see it as challange: Who can keep these disgusting tasting things in his mouth the longest time? ;-) Or simply like telling everybody "wow you have to taste these things and tell me how you like them"... Kids & teens also have fun tasting very sourly things - just to see each others faces in that moment...

But however, we should stop the CPSC and their unreasonable way of thinking and acting instead of changing a flawless product, that just is misused by few...
