Panel: Ingrid Paredes (March for Science NYC), Ionatan Kuperwajs (Scientist Action and Advocacy Network), and Linnea Saby (Science Policy Initiative).
Moderator: Wei Ji Ma (NYU).
Ever wondered if you can use your skills as a scientist to further social or environmental causes? This is possible, and you do not have to wait to first become an expert in a particular domain (or a professor). In this panel discussion, we will hear from three PhD students who, besides their actual research, are leading projects ranging from juvenile justice reform to the Atlantic Coast Pipeline.
