The sigh at 2:19 wrecks your heart because it’s the songs happy tone finally shattering to reveal the underlying sadness. I have 3 theories. It’s either about a girl who believes she is undeserving of this relation ship, A girl who’s partner has died, and she’s dreaming about being with them, or both. (She was underserving of the relationship and the the other person died)

I love all of the dynamics of this song! The tone is graceful, the harmony is on par, the melody just fits right in where it needs to be, the "setting" gives this sort of feeling of euphoria/elation plus a sadness that makes you just sunk into the background, and it has this sort of "slow" feeling that isn't so exaggerated that it doesn't make the song sluggish yet not so fast that it doesn't feel rushed. Amazing! It's really hard to find songs that are so well played! I can't seem to get enough of it!

Love this song.

What I see from this song is that it's an adventure.

You can hear the wind instruments in the background play like it was on the peak of an adventure. The way music prances like you were walking.

It's happy with a hint of sadness covered by the wind instruments and the vocals. Because in an adventure, you know it will end. On a road trip, you know you have a destination, but you keep that thought away and enjoy the moment. Or the present.

But at the last part of the song, you hear that it changes and you can only hear the vocals and the piano. It feels sad.

This is the end. It's the opposite now. The music sounds sad with a hint of happiness. Because you know that this may be the end of this adventure or this trip, but it just means that we can start another again. Someday.

At least that's how I see it and how I appreciate it. <3

Whenever I hear/listen to this song it always makes me smile. It's a very cute and soft song (though it gives me UP vibes. Idk y) and in the same time in my mind, there's always a story playing inside. Like for example:

The boy have always wanted the girl to be happy. He wanted to ride a bike with her and the reason is he never want her to be worried, he just want her to be happy by spending his time to her. Everytime she talks to him his heart just melts. He would take her to different places (or dates rather) to refresh her mind and take away the negative thoughts. he would hug and cuddle her, give her kisses, sing her songs, tell her cheesy jokes and pick-up lines, take care of her and love her to the fullest. However, he could  never do one of those. Everytime he hears the girl cry beside him it breaks his heart into a broken pieces of glass. Everytime her trembling hands reaches his, he knows that she's facing alot of financial problems and the fact that the he's currently in a critical stage of a certain disease which only gave him a couple of months  left to live made the girl depressed. He desperately want to hug and tell her "everything's alright, you'll be fine. I love you, don't worry. I'm here" but he know he couldn't. He can only watch her cry while countless tubes and wires are connected to his body to 'cure' him making him unable to talk nor move but can only watch her.

As he look outside the window, he only manage to smile and close his eyes Knowing his plans are impossible and can only exist in his dreams.
