CSM boarding patrol is still available on gw site here in the states.
Everything that has been selling out in UK takes about twice to 3x as long to sell out stateside.
I think they are pushing way more stock stateside cuz their margins are so much higher here.

speaking for Boarding Actions itself as a game mode, the Custodes Boarding Patrol is GOAT while the Thousand Sons one is probably the worst out of all of the Patrols.

Rubrics are split into max 5 man squads and you can only take 3 troop units when mustering a party, meaning that 5 rubrics out of the 20 given, are flat out unplayable. Furthermore, you only get 2 aspiring sorcerers and 2 soulreaper cannons when you need 3 for all 3 squads (the cannon isn't neccessary but you need at least 3 sorcerers, because you can have a unit with one sorcerer and 4 flamers). If i remember correctly, you can only have one spawn too, meaning that another model is wasted. No tzaangors featured is good but no Scarab Occult (heavy damage dealers) and more importantly, no exalted sorcerer/ Infernal Matser or Ahriman on foot is catastrophic for such a herohammer faction

Missed out on the Custodes battleforce but now kinda tempted to get the Boarding Patrol for them, if I am unable to get the Orks boarding patrol

I started Custodes and Thousand Sons with the christmas battleforces, so neither of these boxes are good for me. Already got Valoris and need Scarab Occult Terminators, not more Rubric marines... I really don't want to buy the combat patrol lol

I'm liking the look of the TS box, if it is £80 you're basically paying just £5 for the chaos spawn (assuming you're already in the market for some rubrics).

I've always thought that the Custodian Guard Squad models were unfortunately very ugly. Those pauldrons are just way too big. They look truly ridiculous. How do they even raise their arms?

It’s odd, on the US site, GW doesn’t mark the Boarding Patrols as limited availability. I’d like to see confirmation one way or the other from the Lords of Nottingham. I’d like to get the Death Guard box, but I’d rather not go GW direct.

i love how posetive you present these kits, these boarding patrols look amazing tbh, also wack how most are almost 500 points while some combat patrols don't even get there, the custodes one looks really fun just having 7 models on the table, but do they come with helmets? as i hate the faces 😅

i hope someday gw will make like a 50 euro box set like a recruit edition but for each faction so peeps can get into 40k cheaper or just more recruit boxes with different factions facing each other off or something

Seriously, I encourage everyone to find a decent recaster, or buy a decent printer at this point. More bang for your buck, plus they usually come with options, should the original kit have them.
