The Federal Government through the Ministry of Transportation has in the spirit of Christmas declared passenger trains across the Nigerian Railway Corporation system free of charge during the period.

According to a communique from the Nigerian Railway Corporation, this gesture is to enable Nigerians to travel and celebrate Christmas.

Free train rides at a time the govt is doing everything possible to rake in more revenue? I think it is better to offer discounts as much as 50% off tickets purchased this yuletide season that should be it.
