Amazing Places: Tallulah Gorge State Park, Georgia #amazingamerica

Almost 1,000 feet deep and two miles long, Georgia’s Tallulah Gorge is one of the most dramatic canyons in the eastern United States. Walk along the suspension bridge swaying 80 feet above the rocky bottom to catch stunning views of the waterfalls below: L’Eau d’Or, Tempesta, Hurricane, Oceana and Bridal Veil (Sliding Rock). All but Bridal Veil are visible from the overlooks. First stop for any visit should be the Jane Hurt Yarn Interpretive Center, where you can get trail maps, ranger advice and more.
