I saw Yumi Zouma tonight In Cambridge, MA, they were amazing. I was introduced to them about 3 years ago. I play the first 5 albums so much, I hadn't even made it to the 2 latest albums. After tonight I think the 2 latest albums are now my favorite. It was awesome to meet you guys after the show, thanks for such a great night. Christie you are gorgeous, it was cool to bump into you outside and then meet you after your performance.

Such an interesting band to listen to; all the tools are there to be melodic, catchy, mindless radio pop that comes on like a wave and is all forgotten a year later, receding and buried under the constant waves of unmemorable melodic, catchy, mindless radio pop songs/bands. BUT there is some unknown genius at work here, inexplicably able to take that template and lift it far above, a tsunami washing deep into our collective hearts, forever changing the landscape. These songs are truly excellent now, and they will be excellent in a thousand years.
