( LYRICS WITH TRANSLATION) The Original song was sung by Amir Bai Karnatki and Arum Kumar in the movie "Kismat" (1943) for Mumtaz Shanti and Ashok Kumar.

This gem was written by Pradeep and composed by Anil Biswas. "Kismat" (1943) was a landmark movie in the annals of Hindi cinema. This was the first multi starer movie in the Hindi film industry. Its songs were hugely popular.

Lata ji with her melodious voice has given a new life to the song through Shraddhanjali (A Tribute to Great Singers). I have created video Lata ji's version with my favourite couple Madubala and Dilip Kumar.

"They are trapped in a deserted place on a stormy and thunderous night. She is requesting the clouds to come and go slowly and quietly, so her Love could sleep peacefully."

I have listened and watched the Kismat song by Amirbai Karnataki ..The sound quality is very poor. Then the Lata's Shraddhanjali song (Tribute to Amirbai ) was fabulous, with no surprize as it is done in recent times with modern recording technology. Blending these two together was not easy job ..especially when song starts with thunderbolts .. followed by Lata's recent tribute-song is marvelous .. Please keep it up. One suggestion -- Try only those songs whose videos are not available or quality of vdo/audio is bad. If both are fine .. then i would prefer to listen that song ... Best Luck --Thanx.
