WeatherBot! An ESP8266 and MicroPython powered Robot

Показать описание
Do you want to create a cute robot that can show you the temperature using a servo and a DHT22? This is a really easy build and cheap to make, also ideal for STEM students too. The code is simple too and can be used to send measurements to an MQTT server, which you can then use to create dashboards and UIs with software such as NodeRed.

Hi Kev, So I bought a 3d printer and somehow managed to successfully print the weather bot! After buying some wrong parts i finally have the required kit and it's all assembled. But no what? I feel a little lot with MQTT part onwards, any advice? I would really like to see this project to completion but would need a little guidance! Thanks, David

Would a WeMos D1 be better? It's smaller, so might fit right inside.

I had visions of an umbrella. When it’s sunny, stays shut, rain it opens, high winds and umbrella inverts :D

Also, where do you find the time to do all this stuff?! :)
