This video is #2 of 2 on using AMOS with latent variables. In video #1 of 2, I illustrated how to carry out Confirmatory factor analysis. In this video, I illustrate how to use the drawing program in order to test structural relationships among the latent variables.

The data for this video can be downloaded here:

Thank you for the clear explanation! Beginner here-- any tips or tutorial on how to convert the standardized regression weights of structural model to the typical multiple regression equation form (with beta coefficients) if I have two mediating variables?

Many thanks for the video, I am not statistical at all, please I need a major help with understanding what all this and how to get it done, I have all my raw data on Spss but stuck with getting this done for months, can I kindly connect with you. Help please!!!

Doctor,
Your help please, i have a problem, some constructs are having AVE less than 0.5, i thought it is bcz i insert zero for the " not aaplicable- NA" in likert scale 🥺
Your opinion please 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏

Dear sir, I have questions regarding assessing the local dependence when conducting this LV-SEM approach. As far as I know, either approach that uses manifest variables or latent variables requires researchers to assess the internal consistency. How do I assess the inter consistency and local dependence among the set of items, and justify that the measurement error was controlled (not increased?) while conducting the latent variable SEM approach? I'll appreciate it if you may provide any suggestions or link to other sources. Thank you!

Thank you for the explanation! I have one additional question I can't seem to find the answer to. The error items have two numbers above them in the model. For example d1 has "0; .63". What is the meaning of both numbers? Thank you!!

Dear Sir, How can we analyze the model that included Observed variables, latent variables, endogenous and exogenous in a model? Could you please give me any suggestion? I have tried the 1st and 2nd order confirmatory factors analysis, and there I only got on endogenous variable, not reach to exogenous variable yet. To this matter, I do not know hot to move forward. Please help me???

I am trying to learn further by simulating your model. Do you have the raw data file, sir?

Stupid noob question :

1. Is latent variable = total score of all indicator within the variable it self ?
2. How to make latent variable ?

Anyway, good video !!! very helpful for social research !

In my experiment I cannot see a "Matrices" under "Estimates", it just showing only "Scalar", Please help on this

can someone tell me what is the meaning for the estimate = 1 in the regression weights table? I got similar result. but i don't know how to interpret it. Please someone
