The reason you’re getting such low cash for bison is because you’re shooting it with a 30-06. Shoot it with something like a .300 or something in its actual class range so you can kill it quicker. The quicker the kill the more money.

To earn alot of money there's 3 things you can do
1. harvest everything. because consecutive harvests affects cash
2. Proper ammo, shooting it 2 times or less, no damage trophy organs and must get a vital hit. Any of these failed will result in loss of cash
3. Quick kill. The higher the quick kill, the more cash you'll get.

The loadout I mainly use is 308 or 303 for classes 4 to 6 animals ( you can use them on 7 and 8 but you'll lose quick kill without a heart or neck shot. 243 for classes 2 and 3 ( can work on classes 2 to 6 but I wouldn't recommend going past class 3). 300 for classes 7 to 9 best big game gun in the game and will destroy bears no problem, and finally 22lr or 22h for class 1.

For the bison use the .300, .338, 7mm, 45-70, or Nitro express to get more money and also if you see a diamond bison you have to shoot it with one of those for it to count as a diamond.

Couple of tips for your Great One grind, KG! Most of the time you’re gonna want hunt their drink times. For example, black bear drink time starts at 15:30. I would recommend setting the time to 15:35, that way it gives the bears a bit of time to get to the lakes. Head over to some of the hotspots for them. You can find some hotspot maps for them here and there. Find all of your zones, then put down tents about 225 years away from where your zone actually is. Do that with your favorite zones and you’ll be good to go with your grind! I would recommend asking the youtuber KillClynton for help with grinding. He probably grinds more than any other youtuber and would be more than happy to help you out. But as always, great video KG! Hope you get the Great One!
