I think it was Jeff Alberts of 3DMJ who said that peak week is the week to not fuck up...

So here's a video about the 3 ways I fucked up.

Being a complete novice competing self coached for the first time in my first ever mens physique show was daunting to say the least.

However in the end I had an incredible experience, a bunch of fun and even bagged a 3rd place medal.

I made mistakes...

I didnt practice peak week...

I didn't carb up enough...

And I pumped up too early..

But I also did a lot right!

Solid vid man. Personally i'd say you'd do well with more of a rapid backload approach over the 2 days pre in that 2 days out you go VERY high, high 1 day out and cruise/feed up into the show assuming you are ready well early enough. Again, super individual though. Very interesting indeed.

Sorry Im late .. never gonna compete.. but just like listening to you speak.. It's engaging.. But other than just commenting for the algo.. I could take a thing or two from this to deal with those days when I don't like how I look in the mirror..
