Shannon, a novice should view your stud framing locating video because it's easily understood. It doesn't matter if it's a house or a storage shed, the process is the same.

Couple questions, are you going windowless on the west wall to block the heat of the evening? Also why do you mark the side of the stud vs the center? Is it because of the joints? Love this series, thanks for making it!

Nice, but where did you get that pencil?

How much do you charge to GC a new build?

AU chippy here, just wondering why you guys go back half a stud? That would make the first stud bay narrower than the rest. We mark 450+, which means start at 0 going left to right, then mark 450 and X on the right side, 900 and X on the right side etc. This means all stud bays will be 450 - a stud width, for insulation. Doesn't the way you've done it mean the first bay will be 16 - a stud and a half, and the rest be 16 - a stud? Just curious mate, unless I've misunderstood something?

Explain stud length and regular 2x4 length.

I see all framers go back 3/4 in and write X for stud side, is not easier and more intuitive to just mark the center of the stud and do not go back or forward

Why didn't you layout all the walls?
