Xiaomi Air Purifier 3H Review [In-depth and noise test!]

This is my in-depth review of the recently released Xiaomi Air Purifier 3H!

I've been having difficulty searching for local reviews of this awesome new gadget of mine so I'll give you my thoughts on this affordable, practical, yet stylish, and very effective little thing!

Hi Kevin,

I watched your video about hitachi inverter which seems to be in private now. You mentioned about its efficiency. I bought one and the model is RA-08HSV since it was the only model left at the mall. I have a very small room. low ceiling. around < 8sqm. with good insulation. As I observed its consumption, it turns out it's running around 500watts whatever the set temperature is even if it's day or night before it goes to fan mode. I thought it's that efficient but it turns out its not. HVQ is probably better. But I just wanna mention that HSV inverter model of Hitachi is a total garbage whose after sales is a total garbage.

Is it possible to reuse a filter for more than one lifecycle (as with the version 2) or is the air purifier blocking when you install the same filter again? Does the device work, when the RFID chip is blocked/removed?

Bought the pro h version. To cover half of my house and its working great! The only problem is the app is a little buggy. Especially with the recent updates, automation don’t work as well as it used to be. Are you facing the same issues?

Great review! What do u think of fan noise in the night mode? I got the 2H version but since day one it still a bit to noisy to have turned on at night. I have it 2 meters away from bed. Do u think the 3H is quieter than 2H? Thanks!

Could you please verify something for me? If the PM counter on the OLED screen drops to sometihng very low...like 001 can you still run the system on high ? Or does that PM 2.5 value on the OLED screen restrict you. I have seen reviews where in auto mode it will drop to silent mode after the air has been cleaned...but if the sensor is not accurate then maybe the air is not as clean as the machine thinks...so i want to continue running it for another 20 minutes after it shows the air is safe...just as an extra precaution. Is that possible? Thanks.

Hi, how did you manage to connect the device to the Mi Home App? I was able to connect the device but during set-up, I can’t get past the “Select Room” page 😞
