The 16e was to release at $499, but Apple knew they could still sell a gang of 16e for $599 or entice persons to spend $200 more and get a 16.

I dont know why people say 13R's canera is bad, tbh the main camera is better than most flagships out there, the ultra wide and the telephoto is average yeahh

My iPhone 13 is on its tail end performance wise (coincidentally slowing down ever since 16s dropped). 16e is such a scam I'm not getting another iPhone. OnePlus 13r may be the move!

Yep they really fumbled it this time. The SE is still an amazing phone that works to this day and it was priced amazingly over the years, so despite the older hardware mixed with new chip and whatnot, it had big value.
Now it's got too many cuts for that high of a price? No thanks, it's 729€ over here, big yikes.

I'm not trying to be an apple fan boy in any way I just want to point out that the OnePlus 13r is closer to $700 and the iPhone 16e processor is slightly better but the OnePlus is definitely still better value

Guarantee that 16e will outsell all of OnePlus models 20 to 1. That being said the OnePlus is technically a better phone but then you have to deal with Google 🤢
