YESSSS New Jasmine video, my day just instantly got better.

Oooh I read Howards End after seeing the TV series they made of it a couple of years ago and I loved it so much.

I didn't know that Kazuo Ishiguro's daughter is a writer too! I'm actually intrigued by how her writing style feels... I'll read up on her novels and will check out Common Ground as well, thank you, Jasmine! 🙂
In April I read my first ever Graphic Novel and did enjoy this unusual for me experience. Io Sakisaka's Art is such a beaming light :) I decided to finally give manga a go - I love the Ao Haru Ride anime, but it stays unfinished for such a long time. And wow...I didn't expect that I would love the manga version even better :)
I read one book this month so far but it went straight into my favourites - Before the Coffee Gets Cold was a special read for me. Can't wait to read the next one in the series!
Great video as always, Jasmine! A beaming light that's how I define each and every of your videos :)💗

Thanks for the great video and recommendations Jasmine 😊 I NEED to read Howards End, have been meaning to get to it for ages...
I have been reading so many incredible books lately: A Raisin in the Sun (I don't see you talking about plays, so I don't know if you'd be interested in that one), The Idiot by Elif Batuman and The Hours by Michael Cunningham were absolutely incredible but the best one must be The Cider House Rules by John Irving! It broke my heart.

I hope to read Howard's End this year! I got a bind up of Maurice, A Room with a View and Howard's End at a used bookshop and they're all calling my name!

Oh wow, I had never heard of Howard's End, but it sounds so interesting... I'm gonna have to check it out! I've been meaning to check out Luster for the longest time too, so knowing you liked it definitely bumped it up on my tbr

It's always great to hear your wrap ups! Common Ground sounds a lot like Mayflies, do you think?

I think I’ll reread Howard’s End at some point because when I read it I was so excited for it but it really fell flat for me! I’m glad you love it though!💖 So nice to see a new video from you!!

Have you seen the 1992 Merchant-Ivory film of Howard’s End? It is sublime. I haven’t read the book. It is one I really want to get to, along with The Remains of the Day. Those two films with Emma Thompson and Anthony Hopkins came out in back-to-back years and were both so brilliant.

I’ve now officially given up on The Golden Rule. No one likes it. Not going to bother reading it. It’s going straight in the Donate box.

I just received Still Life in the mail this weekend. It’s a bit intimidating. But I read Tin Man this year for the first time and fell in love. It’s my favorite read of the year, so I had to try her new one.

I had no idea Sarah Winman had another novel out. I'll need to keep a wee eye out for that one.

shame about wolf den and common ground, the premises sounded really interesting

Luster didn’t thrill me. I could not understand why a young woman would enter her married lover’s home and go straight to the master bedroom. I didn’t buy it. I do get great recommendations from your channel. Thank you.
