I build most of my helis from a kit so I know how good that can make you feel to do it yourself, nice build and run Dave.

I have had mine a few years but it was RTR version. But since I have swapped the motor and ESC so it might as well been a roller! So far, no real issues, I love it 😂🤣😂🤣

I love this truck. I've had my eye on this one for years. I love that they have a kit version. I'll always prefer kit over RTR. You can build this one cheap using those electronics you used. I may just have to pick one up. Good job as always Dave!

Lucky the grass is cut like a rug, if it would of been longer that gps may not have been so quick to find👍🏻🤪!
67km/h is quite impressive brother! You fly the buggy well Dave. Enjoy the rest of your weekend man!👊🏼👍🏻😀

I love the review of this car! 48 km/h at 2 s is a very good speed! Do you recommend it as a long-term purchase? How resistant have the gears and differentials been to wear? Do you still keep it 2024? greetings friend! I love your content!😊😊😊😊

Hey, I'm want to get in to the rc car hobby. Do you think I should go for wltoys 124017 or 124016 or do you think there is a better rc or bigger rc you think that a beginner can start with?? Please help. Thanks.

I have the buggy but I put 125mm monster truck wheels on it running 3300kv f540 and a 60amp esc also using the stock 24 tooth pinion

reason I'm posting is cuz I also had mg996r as my servo and I've been through 2 now they last about 3-4 weeks then go all crazy super twitchy and struggle to do 90 degree turns then just lock up

swapped out to a 995 my mate had spare and it's been solid if it helps my 996r's are branded mopei and the 995 is branded tower pro

Nice, yes a 17t pinion.
ZD has been a bit of a mixed bag for me, have had a lot of fun with some however most problems I've had are not with the car design or parts themselves but with the quality control.
I built one of these too and was quite happy with it although even in kit form still had quite a few QR problem's like holes not drilled on the top chassis brace, moulding on the bottom of the gear box that needed to be cut off. Also one of my shocks was loose from the bottom cap and ejected oil everywhere, made me check the others do discover they were all too loose too.
Also my diffs felt like gravel from new so before I even assembled I rebuilt them, they had no or little grease from memory and also had already been shimmed from new which doesn't make sence since you only should need to shim once the gears and gearbox casing is worn and as a result not meshing the crown and output pinion properly however in this case all it was doing was making them too close and binding.
Anyways removed the shims, packed with grease: smooth like butter 🧈 😋

Anyways once I built it it was super reliable and only burnt out a 12T 550 motor after quite alot of use only because I was running it on 3S every single time so wasn't expecting it too last a long time 🤣

Anyways put another 12T 550 motor and sold it to a friends dad at mates rates as a favour.

Hopefully ZD have upped their game in terms of QC as I'm looking to get the Desert buggy soon.
