AXON-1 & 2 Expanders - Basics

The AXON-1 & 2 provide Pamela’s PRO Workout, SQUID SALMPLE, and MFX with four additional freely assignable CV inputs. The AXON-2 additionally provides manual offset controls with each CV input along with two performance buttons that can be mapped to various functions depending on the host module.

The AXONs function in a similar way with all three of the host modules with only one AXON supported per host at any time. Here we take a look at using both AXON-1 and 2 primarily connected to the Pamela's PRO Workout.

it would be really cool to be able to chain these. PPW could be my main/primary modulation source, IF I could get the ratio of knobs and functions into a better spot. As it is, I regularly think about ditching it because it can be such a calculating chore to program.

what is the expander connector type? it isn’t listed anywhere - What is it a JST ZH? Molex?

with the Axon 1, can you send in four gates in the four cv inputs, to trigger four envelopes on 4-7.

one axon per host module, so the axon cant be assigned to two differnt modules at the same time? like pam and MFX?

If your Axon-2 knobs stop working (but the cv works and pams is on ect) make sure the power cable on Pams is connected. I have wasted my day trying find out what's wrong.
