The one that was recently released is the GM or final version for beta but the official update will be after 24 hours which is the first time apple do this compared before. If you’re on a beta just delete the beta profile in the settings so that you can download the official firmware tom

Be in my device as well except the first iPhone setup steps, because you restored your iPhone.

Also I will update in Thursday because Apple services will crash because so many will update in the same time.

Well. So 14.0 is coming. I just locked down and blocked automatic updates. You can guess why. But just in case, it is because of the Primo Golden Rule of all operating system users.

It is this, after 40 years in the software business, there is one golden Primo Rule that readily comes to mind.

Actually there are two, I lied.

The first is "always take multiple backups". The second is "never ever never for sure never use the .0 version of anything" and this is especially true of operating system updates.

Now you understand why I am not terribly excited yet for the 14.0 release. But that always comes before the better version, the real one you want, the bug fix to .0, in this case 14.something other than zero.

So, lock the auto updates down and wait for the inevitable bug reports and fixes to be posted on YouTube and update when the new version "just works" again.
