To bring Pikmin to you, you can max out Oatchi command skill.
This allows you to send Oatchi on a journey to gather any stray Pikmin, and then Oatchi comes back to you
And later on you can unlock an item to do it meaning you dont lose Oatchi for a bit

Dandori battles are a nice addition. It would be also good if it was a multiplayer feature whether it be local or online.

10:05 You can use RUSH on Oatchi to break down the walls. Also you don't have to have all the pikmin on you to enter the caves, they will follow you around. But yes you have to let them finish the task first.

I personally would max out Oatchi's Buff skill (which will let Oatchi carry things with the strength of 10 Pikmin) to unlock Super Buff (which will let Oatchi carry things with the strength of 100 Pikmin).
