WOW this video came out longer than expected! If you somehow made it through to the end of this video I applaud you especially since I barely finished editing it.

Anyway it was fun slash embarrassing to go through this sketchbook, but I feel like it's important to be able to laugh at yourself and learn from your mistakes. Besides some of the concepts and characters in this book aren't bad ideas; they just need to be portrayed better. I sense many redraws in my future.

If you're still reading this type " Cringe bound in polka dots" because that's what this book is.

I do see much improvement here, mostly in your line quality. From your earlier sketches, it was very.. undeliberate and unsure. Your line now seems more sure, planed out, and crisp. If I had to give you any advice, I would say to draw more out of your comfort zone. What I mean is to try to draw contour line drawings of real life objects, tables, cups, animals, your phone, etc. I do see you like self portraits, and that's actually a good thing, most young artist hate them, and even some older ones as well. So what I suggest is to go in front of a mirror, or take a picture of yourself on your phone, and try to draw yourself as accurately as possible. It may take you a while, and you may hate it at first, but trust me, you will learn a lot. You are your own best model, any pose you want, at almost any time you want, completely free. I do many self portraits, and each time I learn something new, a better way to improve. Just keep in mind that you are just at the start of leaning how to draw. Time,  patience, and determination is key.
