Unlocking Hidden Potential | Adam Grant

Remember the very first time you rode a bike? Did it suggest you’d be a part of the Tour de France soon? Probably not. But, with the right guidance as you practiced, your skill level a week, a month, or a year later was likely higher than that first day. In other words, you had potential that your initial performance didn’t show.

Organizational psychologist Adam Grant says potential is a stronger indicator of success than past performance in the workplace, too. In this video lesson, he discusses focusing on others’ growth capabilities and why the best leaders act as coaches.

I just finished Hidden Potential...as a doctoral candidate in org psych, I appreciated the research-backed approach to the topic.

The first book I ever read was written by Adam Grant. "Think Again". I really liked that one, so I am going to try to read this one as well.

Another underrated book similar to this that people might be interested in is The Art of Learning by Josh Waitzkin. Changed my life! Will give Adam Grant’s book as well. Loved Originals!

The feedback sandwich is dead? Guess I’ll have to stop sugarcoating my ‘constructive criticism’ with a ‘great job’ at the end 😂

Last few days I have been following your YouTube channel. But they are not getting the views and engagement which they actually deserve.
By the way, I see some issues on your channel. It can be the biggest reason for limited engagement.
