Everyone is enjoying this: the orchestra, the conductor, the audience, such a lyrical and elegant music

This is perhaps one of the most sensational pieces of music ever written. I'm not an opera buff but I have heard the Rosenkavalier many, many times in my life. This "compressed" form called a Suite removes the human voice and we loose a lot, specially those parts that can make us cry of beauty like the presentation of the rose and the last voice trio in the end but the music is so beautiful, so moving, that we can forgive that. And the sound, the recording, the filming and the conduction by Orozco-Estrada is simply magnificent.

I love being able to see the orchestra! This group is particularly thrilling. What a pleasure to watch, what an extravagance. I feel so lucky.

Splendid. A talented conductor, a fine orchestra and the magical music of Richard Strauss come together very eloquently.

This German music is as delicate, gorgeous, and deeply human as Japanese poetry. The different artistic expressions of our common humanity never ceases to amaze.

Loved it.The conductor and the orchestra used their whole bodies to capture the wonderful lilt that so characterizes this work.

I have read that Andrés Orozco-Estrada had signed for Viena Philarmonic. He is an excellent conductor snd trough him I discovered this fabulous HR FRANKFURT symphony whose conductor was few years ago Paavo Jarvi. This orchestra has been my favourite last years.
Wonderful performance as usual. Thank you HR!!

Oh I just this piece of music, and the rendering is absolutely exquisite. As an oboist I really love the oboe section, which instrument I have a sneaking suspicion was close to Strauss' heart. I had a flute player who used to send me sidelong glances like this one is doing, if she's critical of him I can't imagine why, their intonation is fabulous and the subtlety a delight 🙂
