With this postorbital bar the Euprimates seem to me to fall back to a state of early Synapsids (like Varanosaurus). - Exciting information, as in all your lectures.

im working on science fiction novel, an alien worlds evolutionary history, plays a major role in the story. Im developing an alien species that is a hybrid of plant and insectoid animal, it possesses a respritory system that utilizes colonies of algae like microorganisms in a process of photosynthesis which causes a release of supplements during day to increase metabolic functions, I am very interested in the unique relationships between primates and evolution of plant life. Your videos are providing alot of inspiration, and while not directly mammalian in nature, an integral aspect of this fictional species is how its brain chemistry is manipulated by the absorption of various chemicals provided by a very special host tree, which the novels highly evolved species directly evolved from.
