Cloud x Tifa | Find a Way

Hello Youtube! It's been 11yrs and apparently this is what brought me back.
Cloud and Tifa (｡♥‿♥｡)

I love their relationship because it's very sweet and based on trust and respect. The reason I ship Cloud and Tifa is simply because I feel like it's the type of love that lasts even after the beginning fireworks of infatuation are gone. It's more realistic. Also I am a sucker for friends turned to lovers stories.

I understand the appeal of Cloud and Aerith. I think theirs is more of a love that's portrayed in most movies and stories. It starts with that meet-cute situation and it's very exciting and fun. Their dynamic is definitely one that's popular to ship in romance. I see why they both are drawn to each other. Actually I know why Cloud is, Aerith not so sure. He is cute and reminiscent of Zack but other than that I don't see her reasons as much as his.

With that said, I prefer Tifa with Cloud not only for the reasons I mentioned but also because there's flaws with Tifa I see that make her more human than with Aerith. So Tifa seems to be a more interesting character. I do love characters with Aerith's personality but her being Cetra and savior and all wrapped in one make her too perfect for my taste. And there's undeniable chemistry and sexual tension I sense when Cloud and Tifa are near each other that I don't feel when he's with Aerith. They feel more like young teens with puppy love to me. At least how I see it.

BUT! Everyone's entitled to their ship and opinions so please no wars.

Also, I agree with everything you said in the description!! Even as a hardcore CloTi shipper myself, I can totally understand why people would ship Cloud and Aerith, they have a cute relationship! But Tifa is too adorable and perfect, and I prefer her chemistry with Cloud! ❤
