What a gentleman. True bodybuilder. No tattoos, stupid haircut, yelling at the gym or smashing dambbells, always well dressed, well outspoken, well behaved. True inspiration.

A legend from Leeds England and Arnold would often visit Reg Parks mother here in Leeds when he visited England.

The tragic part is most do not believe you can get to a fantastic standard without steroids. Another big win for big pharma and drug pushers....
Ive been a gym chain owner and bb coach for nearly 50 yrs....and know what Im talking about.

I think some people find it difficult to believe that Reg Park was a natural because they failed to make great gains like Reg. What these people might not know is that people like Reg and Steve Reeves were 'naturals" what some bodybuilding experts call mesomorphs. In my over 80 years of life I've met dozens of men in Sarawak (Malaysia) who despite having never lifted weights were much bigger and stronger than me. A few that did take up bodybuilding in the 1960s went on to make much better gains than my 30 lbs in three years. Indeed, even before they took up weight training they were bigger and stronger than me because I'm very light boned (6" wrists) with narrow clavicles, etc., a classic ectomorph. Having read that Reg from the very beginning trained extremely hard and with his superior genes, diet, bodybuilding knowledge, etc that he weighed 225 lbs I don't find this hard to believe that he did it without steroids. I don't how how much he weighed when he first started training but I guess his weight would certainly have been more than my 150 lbs (a gain of 30 lbs albeit not all of it muscle after three years training) probably around 180 lbs? Why anyone find it hard to believe that Reg could gain 45 lbs after training for three years escapes me. I've seen photos of him weighing 240 lbs. Although he was huge, today's fans would say he was smooth. Would he have been smooth had he taken steroids? Just my two cents ... .

He must of been in his late 50’s early 60’s here. Still built like a beast. He’s 6’1 even if he never lifted he would be lean 190 to 210. Combine that with weights, if I can gain 40/50 pounds natural and still stay around 14% bf. And my genetics are subpar I’m 5’10 on a stretch. If I can achieve that. They what can this guy this specimen achieve, though I have taken gear now. I have a foundation. But some what regret it. Don’t sell yourself short. Eat plenty of beef milk cheese butter and eggs. What your body change. Compound lifts. Smart training programs.
