This is what MLB needs to do more. Uploading full classic games, and especially when the moments make sense. The 81 World Series this week makes sense, but the passing of Fernando Valenzuela makes tons of sense for younger fans to see how great he was in 1981.

I was 5 years old living in Echo Park a couple of blocks away from Dodgers Stadium. I recall the cheers and the glow of the stadium lights in the sky.

I’m 29 years old and this is such a treat to watch. This game is 14 years before I was born the only people I know on the field are dusty baker and Dave rhigetti because I’m a giants fan. Super cool to see these teams and learn about some legends I didn’t know about

Peace be upon the Valenzuela family and Fernando's friends.

I was 9 years old and in little league when they played this game, we loved Fernando not only because he was great, but also because the dodgers station in Los Angeles, KTTV channel 11, broadcasted all of Fernando's starts on TV, as it was much different back then and hardly any home games were televised.

149 pitches! That's incredible. In today's game he would have been taken out in the 5th inning.

Descansa en paz, Fernando. No habrá otro beisbolista mexicano como tú. Gracias por todas las satisfacciones que le diste a Mexico y a los Dodgers, del que soy aficionado gracias a ti. Duele mucho tu partida.

As a Yankee fan, Fernandomania was amazing in the early 80s, while I was in high-school, after winning in 77, 78, I wasn't too upset with Fernando and Dodgers winning in 81, miss that era 😊.

We lost the best pitcher of the early 80'1 in Fernado Valenzuela May he rest in peace. And let it be known Fernando brought the Latino community to the Dodgers and brought a sweet taste to what was bitter the Dodgers wouldn't have the fan base they have with him "If you have a sombrero throw it to the sky" Vin Scully Now let's watch greatness

Vintage Fernando Valenzuela. Without this win, the Dodgers lose the series. This was a must win, and he came through.

That year, as a youngster in jr. high, Fernando gave me and others so many thrills and happy moments. He instilled a feeling of hope and positivity in me. Thank you Fernando. Rest in Peace.
