MUDLARKS, TREASURES FROM THE THAMES BY JASON SANDY
Jason Sandy's new book, "MUDLARKS, TREASURE FROM THE THAMES" is out today, 8th December 2022.
It's an insightful book telling the story of London and Londoners through the eyes of over 80 mudlarks and their extraordinary discoveries.
All the artefacts are beautifully illustrated in his 300-page book revealing an intriguing and fascinating story of London's historical past.

Last Sunday, was the book launch at The Mudlark pub, in London. Several mudlarks featured in Jason's book, including myself, were there helping him celebrate.

Before going mudlaking on the River Thames foreshore, you must obtain aThames Foreshore permit from the Port of London Authority.
You must report all objects that you find that could be of archaeological interest to the Museum of London.
The export of archaeological objects more than 50 years old from the United Kingdom to any destination requires a UK license.

Sadly I was in London last week and could not buy this book anywhere, not one store in London had it. Just one in the whole country in Bristol! Sad, as I really wanted this book. Mudlark'd the book on the other hand is easily available. A book can't be a success if people can't buy it.
