Making it in San Diego: Remote work appealing to military spouses

The producer of this video shouldn’t really have been telling the world that this woman’s spouse is currently deployed on the name of the ship and location. Even though it’s not a precise location it’s not a good idea. I was a military spouse for almost 20yrs and one thing we learned from the get go was that we should always adhere to OPSEC rules to keep the troops safe at all times. 🤫

That being said though, it’s always great to hear about companies that offer job opportunities to people who need that kind of flexibility. My husband is now a retired US Marine and we live back in England which is my home. I can’t physically go to work anymore because I have a lot of health issues that make it hard for me to keep a regular job but something Remote that’s part time would be ideal for me. I always feel like I want to contribute to the pot but then reality hits and I know I couldn’t attend a job every day at an office or whatever location other than my home. Being able to sit on my own couch or at a desk and have my dogs at my feet would be great. Maybe it’s time for me to apply and put my college degree to work ☺️
