The 2D game Among us was amazing to sabotage players and play in the year 2020. But now it has become monotonous playing the same maps, modes, and the same tasks.

Basically, there’s nothing new in Among Us nowadays.

Now coming back to the VR version of Among us:

The latest gameplay trailer of Among Us VR that dropped recently showed off some features of the virtual reality spin on one of the biggest games of the last few years.

Unsurprisingly, it shows what it’ll look like to carry out some of the main Among Us actions in VR, including tasks and sabotages. Emergency meetings should be a blast in VR, as you’ll be able to see crewmates’ arms move around while they speak. When you’re venting as an impostor, you’ll be able to peer through the grille to see who’s passing by.

A new version of the Skeld map, Skeld II, will be available at launch. Other features that will be in the game at the outset include hats to customize the look of crewmates, achievements and various control options, such as single and two-handed locomotion modes and nausea-mitigating comfort features.

This time Among Us VR will also be available in seven languages other than English. Along with quickchat, there’s built-in proximity voice chat, which is a cool touch. Players won’t need to mess around with Discord settings while wearing their VR headset.

Original Among Us studio Innersloth is working with Schell Games and Robot Teddy on the VR version, which was developed from the ground up as its own game. “Whether it’s the ability for Crewmates to high-five each other in-game to interacting with tasks around the Skeld, Among Us VR builds upon the features in the original game in all the right ways,” Innersloth community director Victoria Tran said in a statement. “We can't wait for the community to experience it!"

Some believe that Among Us VR could be easier for Impostors due to extremely limited visibility, and the new trailer certainly goes a long way towards suggesting as much, too. Just like in the recent trailer, yellow keeps missing the fact that Crewmembers standing right next to them keep dying over and over again, to the point where they get blamed for almost all the killings.

Now coming back to why all this amazingness of among us vr will just fade away quickly just like among us did a few years back.

I agree that the new VR mode is gonna be fun and refreshing to play in VR but I reckon that it going to follow the same fate as among us in a few months or so because the game is still among us but now it’s VR.

Among Us VR might also die but it still can be saved if there are newer maps, modes and tasks or even newer mini games which could be launched after 2-3 months after the release. This is the only solution that can save the game from dying and build a solid fanbase like Minecraft or Fortnite.
