Sir I have a doubt I want you help me clear. My problem is why Squaring both x&h in the expression f(x+h) when f(x+h) is the same as (fx+ fh/hf) when expanded. I mean when the expression is expanded and then values are substituted will yield a different result compared to when the expression is not expanded. I want you to help me understand this concept plz 🙏🙏🙏.
I'm a big fan of yours and never took calculus in high school and doing so online with you.

I really appreciate the way you teach. I have two questions:
1. Instead of changing dx to h can you leave it at dx and solve?
2. How'd i solve this question( find the gradient of y=2x/x²-5 at the point (2, -4)?

And will appreciate if you could give me a feedback with respect to my inquiry. Thank you 🙏

y = x² , represent change in y as € and x as &
y + € = (x + &)²
Using your binomial triangle
1. a^1
1. 2. 1. a², since x², you slot in the values
1. 3. 3. 1
y + € = ( x² + x& + &² )
You slot in your values
y + € = ( 1x² + 2x& + 1&² )
Make change in y (€) subejct of the formula
€ = 1x² + 2 x& + 1&² - (y)
€ = 1x² + 2x& + 1&² - x²
Since x² and x² cancels out
€ = 2x& +1&²
€/& = 2x&/& + &² /&
€/& = 2x + &
Limit €/& therefore & =0
€/& = 2x
This is my way of solving from first principle
