I’ve met people who don’t know their blood type but know their zodiac sign. I thought there was something to do.
So I worked on a 12 zodiac cards Pateo Force routine.
Very often, too often, spectators told me I had looked at their Facebook profile, even if I didn’t know their name. 🤯
I gave up astrology... 😅
Your informations permit to understand pretty much exactly how the routine works, your review as always is honest an fair.

In my book Diary of a Madman, there is a zodiac trick (“Tonight”) that uses the same method that prevents you from doing it for people who know your birthday.

So as an alternate approach I make the connection about “my dad who showed me my first trick” and it’s his zodiac sign.

I’ve also experimented with using the zodiac sign (wink, wink) of someone else who was “important to me” who is maybe “no longer with us, ” etc.

I think that a similar approach to these ideas could be used for this trick as well.

Also, note that none of the above is described in my book. It’s a little secret I’ve kept for myself. Consider it a bonus for your viewers who own the trick or my trick. 😉

This has been around forever. It was one of the many brass mentalism effects from collectors workshop that I wanted when I was starting out…. …until I saw it performed.

I think this would be improved with a star sign divination at the beginning. Some people might question the fact your sign is exactly six months away from theirs. You could do the divination, but before the reveal you patter about signs being connected. Open the box to “your” sign. Then you turn it over to reveal your connection to them.

This should obscure the divination with a timing misdirection while also letting you name your sign first.

I own this. I was kind of floored that you revealed the method. I personally don’t care, but I’m sure Viking would. Before I purchased this, I couldn’t find info in any forums that revealed the level of details that you did. Had I known that it was an index system, I probably wouldn’t have purchased it. When I opened it, I was like “Awwwwe S@#%! Now I know why it cost so much money!” The index IS the method. The Okito portion, just a delivery mechanism for the method. Nobody is going to think you were carrying around a bunch of heavy brass coins….unless they watch your video of course. The utility for the index is crap. For the price, they should have included a workable utility. I am still looking for a better solution. Now for the good. It is an extremely well-made prop. IMHO this must be combined with a star sign divination. They do not teach star sign divination. The instructions include basic patter, basic turn over move and index instructions. I still have my thinking cap on for how to effectively use this, but I am confident that I can build it into a routine. I already have some solid ideas. Props like this allow you to expand your creativity and storytelling. This is what really attracted me to purchasing this. If you like working at a table with Tarot and other mystical things, this may be a good prop for you. I don’t believe in Astrology, but I love the reactions it gets, so I put Astrology in the “fun” category and this prop/trick will allow you to have some fun. My $.02. Had I known what it was, I probably wouldn't have purchased it, but I don't regret purchasing it....if that makes sense.

I do like this one, and think it could be amazing if the right person performs it. I think it's great for people who like to collect nice props, and create an impossible moment. I'm not sure if I like this better or pro caps.

Not for me - I prefer Isabella's Star type divination - but if anyone is interested I see Hocus-Pocus has a mint Estate version available right now for $120.

I bought this from CWS, worked with it a while and determined it just wasn't for me. I sold it online and got most of my money back. Sorry David, for me the payoff wasn't worth it. JMO

It sounds like an over priced trick for beginners, no video Instructions your sign always changes corresponding opposite to the audience, waste of money, if it was 50$ it should be ok but still it isn't a good product that why they didn't share any video performance, since the creator knows it's sucks .
