Created as a model village to house workers at the nearby Cadbury chocolate factory, the Bournville Estate now has 25,000 residents living in 8,000 homes. And while it may be reminiscent of scenes from an Enid Blyton book, there was trouble in paradise last weekend after the area's historic festival was evacuated after weapons were spotted and a teen injured.

Scores of people were evacuated from the Cadbury Recreation Ground on June 24 after disorder erupted at the family run fair, which has run since the village was set up in the 1900s. As West Midlands Police investigates the incident, we look at some of the rules residents are expected to follow to maintain the charm of Bournville.
