To me Neil's drums and cymbals from A Show of Hands, Presto, and Roll the Bones sounded the best ever in his career in my opinion, I miss his Ludwigs especially, DW's are overrated

Once Neil got rid of his Ludwigs and Zildjians his sound completely changed for the worse IMO. Freddie Gruber convinced Neil that he was a jazz drummer at heart and he’s NOT. All of Neil’s power and passionate playing dissolved after that. I’ll always love Neil’s playing but after Counterparts I just didn’t enjoy their music as much.
