It's nice seeing a more faithful, downbeat version of epic sans outside of the official stuff, since most of the time the fandom portrays him as just a meme machine, when in reality he seems to mostly just make anime references, and outside of that, is well, not really someone who tends to make jokes too often, at least compared to fandom's epic.
