Who is the best international signing that your team has ever made?

This week's SPFL Extra is all about the top international stars that have signed for Scottish clubs over the years.

This season, Celtic picked up Belgian star Jason Denayer on loan from Man City whilst Dundee United signed Estonian cult hero Henri Anier from Erzgebirge Aue in Bundesliga 2. Osman Sow has been a standout performer for Hearts whilst Hibs will have missed Congo star Dominique Malonga who has been away at the Africa Cup of Nations.

I think luka Tankulic is Dundee's best international singing this season even though he hasn't scored to many goals he links up very well with the dundee strikers

First of all would like to congratulate Douglas for managing to point to the 'subscribe' sign correctly for the first time. Second of all would like to say I'm a Hibee. Third of all would like to say I hate jambos. Fourth of all I would conjecture that not only was Mixu Paatelainen the best signing a scottish team has ever made, but potentially the greatest man of all time as well. He once cooked me spag bol. It's not quite cabbage and ribs but it was decent. xx

Gahdzahalov for dundee is solid and has been fitting in to the team really well

To be honest Anier has been stinking for Utd so far! Out best international signing this season has been Jaroslaw Fojut, he has been solid all this season and is only 1 goals away from 5 goals this season!

I think Farid el Alagui has been an excellent addition to Hibs! Although he has been injured I still think he has made a difference to the squad

Must admit Malonga technically is one of the best players for a while at Easter Road. Could work harder but with Cummings beside him the two make a scary combination!!!

Liam Fontaine has been solid for Hibs and defo needs to be given praise! Don't know how mean goal line clearances he has made

Stefan Johansen has to be the best recent import from abroad. He's easily been one of our best players this season

I'm a Dundee United fan, I think Anier is a really good player and can bag some goals, now with GMS and Armstrong at Celtic we can fit both Çiftçi and Anier in the starting 11 which is really good but I can't see Bilate getting into the team

Frédéric Frans has been brilliant for Partick Thistle at the back

for st johnstone there's 3:

1. we needed goals 3 seasons ago we called upon the SOS partnership of sandaza and sheridan getting a combined total of 23 goals

2. alan mannus the 2nd best keeper in the whole of scottish football  and part of the seond best defence of scottish football as well

I'm a hamilton fan and I think the best foreign player in the league was Tony Andreu as he scored the goal that saved our promotion success and he was one of the top goal scorers in the league before he sadly moved to Norwich 😞

It was a shame that he had to move to County, but Antonio Reguero was a fantastic keeper for Inverness that came from Spain, he also played for Real Madrid!
