He's such a talented player who "feels" the game. People say his defense is poor, i disagree, his defense is smart and he steals some balls. He's good at pick'n'rolls or pops and can shoot quite well from long distance.

Idk if we DESPERATELY need a big man, but I would like another. I mean, look at some of the great teams today. They don't have high quality big men, and if they do it's just 1. (other than lakers) I really wanted us to get Chris Kaman, but for some reason he went to the lakers. Next try will probably be Luis Scola. Not a BIG man, but he's got great hustle.

Don't know if he will be coming over this off season when they have still have Neal under a very cheap contract. Spurs are focused on resigning 3 players(one being Diaw) & all 3 will take up all the cap space available. They have one signing exception but they are saving it for Lorbek or another power forward/center. Nando will be a Spur for the 2013-2014 season.

Does anyone know what song this is? Really like it.
Hope De Colo gets a chance with the Spurs, always liked him. Will be a good contributor off the bench I think.

I don't know how high they are on Cory Joseph. Still extremely raw.

Yeah. Manu, when he was his age was dunking over people, was absolutely deadly in the open court, and had quick hands to steal the ball or even block you if you're not careful. I mean look at his highlights. De Colo doesn't even compare. Hopefully he develops into his own mold and achieve his full potential with the Spurs but I really can't see him as being the next Manu. Creative as he is, he is too different overall as a player.

they already have alot of faith in Corey Joesphs & this is the San Antonio spurs we are talking about. they are not the Lakers or Knicks. they are not going to extremely overpay for a player that brings the same productivity as a current player on the roster. Do you know how the current CBA works for the NBA?

i wonder whats gonna happen this upcoming season for the spurs .maybe we put him in the roster .just hope hes not a big waste

nope but as a backup Pop & RC are very high on him. spurs have 10 mil, a 5 mil exception & a 1.5 mil exception to use. the 10 mil will go to Duncan. the 5 mil will go to Diaw. the 1.5 mil will most likely go to Lorbek who like i said is also looking to come on over. they will be around the luxury tax which can turn a 1-2 million dollar contract into a 10 million dollar contract & the spurs ownership will not pay that. if hes willing to sign for the minimum then bring him on over.

@fotoflik why? backcourt is stacked. they need Lorbek to come over.

I read that but i still don't see how he can come over unless he is willing to accept the minimum salary. if he were to wait till the 2013 offseason then neal will no longer be under contract & they will be between 20-30 million under the salary cap. there is a rumor that Lorbek wants to come over too and size at the PF/C position is a much bigger problem than adding depth to the back court. but if accepts the min & plays in austin for a year then thats great.

Guess all we can do is wait for a big man to come our way, 'cause you know the Spurs' front office will find one!

they resigned patty mills, green and now Nando. Now they have too many guards and Blair and Splitter and Diaw won't cut it as big men. There's gotta be a trade coming to move some of these guards. I'm sure you know all this already but I'm just saying.
