*Acronis True Image, and my Macrium Reflect 7 Free experience with Windows 11...*
1) ATI doesn't work with Windows 11. It's possible the latest version does (2021) but AFAIK that's only available as subscription. Ugh. Anyway, I backed up Windows 11 with ATI 2017 and then tried to RESTORE but it fails right at the very end of the restoration process. There's no workaround, don't use it... (and by being installed it prevented Core Isolation from being enabled if you care about that. That's a different story as I had a nightmare of different sys driver compatibility issues and gave up due to crashing)
2) I switched to Macrium Reflect 7 Free a WEEK ago and read a few discussions at the site but Windows 11 compatibility was unclear. I'm glad this video suggests RESTORING will work, but...
3) I'm getting FAILED backups. I made a grandfather/father/son (monthly/weekly/daily) and the initial backup WORKED but every son/daily has failed. I deleted then made a new backup after updates to MR7 Free a few days ago but the grandfather still works with the son still failing.
4) Macrium Reflect 8 Free is coming so maybe that will sort out these issues.
