A subtle but noteworthy additional point: Hitler is wearing a civilian suit rather than his uniform. He declared at the start of the war in 1939 that, having put his military uniform back on, he would not take it off until victory was achieved or he was killed.

And, well, in this timeline, victory was achieved.

I loved the architecture portrayed here. I think the show runners based Berlin off Albert Spiers designs prior to the wars end. Leave it to the Nazis to have the nicest uniforms in military history and the nicest architecture and city structure. Looks like a would be modern day Rome (which is what Hitler and Spier were going for of course). Shame how the bad guys get the nicest shit.

I wish they had shown more of the world. I always appreciated when we got these glimpses. In fact, I would have liked an episode simply devoted to showing us how their version of WW2 played out and what the various parts of the world looked like after the war. For instance, I don't remember them ever showing us what Tokyo looked like after the war or Moscow. I could wrong though; it's been a long time since I watched the show.

When acknowledging the orders of a (male) boss, commander, or leader, you say "Jawhol", not just "Ja".

It should be "Jawhol, Mein Führer"

This show started off strong, it got you hooked.. but then slowly and methodically the entire series falls apart.. the least episode was the worst thing I have ever seen.. Makes no sense, no explanation, no context, .. It felt like a lazy way to end the show quickly..
Would I recommend this series? I dont know.. The beginning is good, the ending is horrible. If you are still interested go for it.

The mistake is that Berlin is still called Berlin here. The city should be called Germania.
