I actually really liked this game. I enjoyed the first 3 fables to the point where I'm getting the guild seal tattooed on my arm lol. I don't see why people didn't appreciate this game, sure it took from the fable story a bit but if the name wasn't attached you'd have no problem with it.

This was good but liked the first two more. I know Lionhead has made it clear that they don't plan on doing Fable 4 but one day in the future if they want to revive it to fable 4 it should be a prequel story one that takes place around the time the Heroes Guild was being revolted against. It should be like a few heroes in the Guild help revolt against it because they realize all the other Heroes are corrupt and abuse their powers to torment the people of Albion and realize with no more serious threats it may be time for the Heroes Guild to end for the better good. So after their basic training and graduation they go rogue after some sort of dramatic event that finally pushes them over the edge and leave the Guild and at some point join the Anti-hero league in Oakvale with some convincing with side missions of course that they're not like the other heroes they're fighting against. Even if you do evil missions they still realize they need you being the most powerful of the few who joined. Then the rest of the game consist of locating and taking out key heroes in main missions (along with side missions for reknown) in order to make an effective assault against the guild in the end. Plus have a new Guild Master who's all corrupt yet powerful who's the final boss because the old one was too virtuous to let the Guild Heroes get too corrupt. Pretty much it's kind of like an Assassin's Creed Rogue plot and you're main character could be a recent decedent of the Oakvale Hero like in 2. I just feel like there was a big gap in the story about the Guild being taken down by just armed citizens. There's no way in hell even with elite guards a bunch of armed citizens could invade a Guild full of trained heroes with extraordinary power of will, skill and/or strength. The anti-hero league would have had to have a few heroes on their side. But yeah just felt like throwing my idea for a Fable 4 out there mostly cause I was bored lol. Fable Legends looks awesome btw.

Never played fable before. This looks totally awesome, and I believe it may be first time I've bought a game before or at release in a LONG time. I usually wait for the price to go down, but this looks too sweet.

This game is amazing, the storyline is so good! Especially the bit with Walter in stouts and the the desert, that bit could be a film! Your character talks too which make the game way better than the other 2.

I loved this game. . I have been playing video games for 30 years and it held one of the most intense moments I have ever had in gaming. I know why most people cry fowl but really? Would you want a story as cut and dry as that?

Oh my god, same here dude! I think that was my favourite quest! I've completed Fable 15 times (thus far) and it still makes me feel tense, when you're still weak and don't have much health, the eerie woods and strong ass balverines, and your first earth troll encounter.
Two characters I'll always remember are the two traders that stood in the lookout point, they're on shrooms and ask you to find their shrooms. They're like "woahhh...far outt, man!" and everything, made me laugh every time.

The first Fable was amazing I really really love it. But even if most people think that Fable III is not very good - I love the story! It is amazing...the "living Darkness" thing was something interesting and thats why I love Fable III most :D
