Показать описание
Here we find a unit vector perpendicular to two vectors, a = i + j = (1,1,0) and b = i + k = (1,0,1).
Although the standard approach is to use the cross product we use the dot product here to find the unit vector perpendicular to the two vectors.
Two vectors are perpendicular when their dot product is zero.
We set the dot product of the unknown vector with the given vectors equal to zero and solve.
