As a junior level web developer, I find that there's too much noise in the tech space. What you really need as an aspiring developer is that clarity of purpose when you are starting out, I mean; what are your long term goals in pursuing a specific niche of tech. Don't listen to anyone when you are starting out, except for for your mentor who is guiding you through your journey. We are all walking different paths but heading towards the same destination. We'll also have different or similar experiences in the job market. Just keep going. Deflate any negative energy that comes your way and you'll ultimately win big. AI talk is so big and everyone has their opinions about it.

With your great in- and forsesight of this field you were able to reassure me that Front End Developers aren’t oversaturated but can be very useful if you never stop learning and adding problem solving skills to your portfolio 🌸 AI isn’t a threat to us it is a tool that we can use to become more efficient. And I think the sooner we realize this and get a hang of these new AI-tools the more we will stand out and be ahead of others

Just my 2 cents: AI can't replace any developer, but makes every developer more productive. So projects that seemed impossible before become realistic now. The demand for developers will just increase.

I debugged my code a few days back the very first time using ChatGPT. And I was blown away! A.I is definitely a good tool to be more productive. It can only do what we tell it to. Human creativity will always surpass A.I.

So make a portfolio with original projects as opposed to copycat/follow-along tutorial projects? Is that good enough to land a job in 2023-2024 with enough consistency, dedication, and patience?

Most small businesses aren’t even using websites anymore. It is all Facebook and Instagram. I’ve seen numerous agencies go belly up this year. It is changing and getting harder, not easier.

I'm not even interested in web development honestly, I just want to say that I like how your point can be applied to anything; you have to have good skills and solve big problems

i think web developpement is just starting to get bigger (3d technologies with webgl etc will go so far in the next years)

Thank you Cristian for creating that course that I'm working on. It really helped me a lot especially Redux. Been scratching my head a lot in the beginning but I felt more confident right now.

I respect your opinion but I have been doing freelancing for 10 years now and this is the first time I'm finding it hard to get work on any freelancing platform like upwork or fiver. There is just no freelance work available. Even companies are firing coders as there is shortage of web dev work. I'm only relying on my previous clients but I'm really confused about the situation right now.

Our guru is back with another banger of a video 🗿
your videos are always peak man, always different form the mainstream and sticking with reality
would have loved to join your program but i am not residing in one of your target market countries
anyways even with your free videos, you have changed my mindset and added a lot of value in my life 📈

i want to ask a question :
should i learn a little bit of ux design and get some product sense and business acumen to stand out in the market with frontend skills

Any tools will not replace your position. it opens more opportunities to do your task in new way.

Hey, I'm Yuusuf and 20 years old. I’m interested in becoming a self-taught web developer, and I would like to meet serious people who want to connect so we could make a study group and make a plan together. If you are interested, let me know.

dumb question but what do people mean with web developer? is that front end? or both? i'm currently in my last year of school as a programmer, C# with .NET, Js, React etc, should i be worried? i'll be getting my associate degree soon, probably will not go for my bachelor and look for work after the associate

Good points, nice video. When AI language models started becoming a thing, I was fascinated by it. I was confident it'll disrupt a lot of things at the same time, and that it will have an impact on web development, too. So I started looking into it, checking out what it can do and what it can't, and I started implementing it into my workflow. It will change my job and the way people in that industry work, but I think it's good to adapt to the new technology and to partner with it. Fear just makes you limb, better make use of the new possibilities. It's not that they are not readily available for me and everybody else to use.

I'm a software engineer and there's been numerous times where I would be willing to pay other fields to fix a problem because I simply have no interest to deal with it. Could I have looked up a YouTube video? Sure. But I just want the problem resolved from someone with experience.
